Prized amongst vignerons are the small pockets of rich volcanic soils that were thrown out eons ago. What better place to have a vineyard than the source of that soil - the eastern slopes of the extinct volcanos of the Mt Bright & Mt View region of the Brokenback Range.  Our first vintage, Bimbadeen Estate 2000 Shiraz, was made by local winemaker, Mark Davidson. Mark is well known locally and highly respected as one of the most innovative winemakers in the Hunter. His wines have won countless medals and awards at wine shows throughout Australia. Mark also made our 2001 vintage shiraz and our first vintage semillon which will be available in 2003.
