Directions
Head for Cessnock.
Coming from Sydney, you will travel past the Cessnock High School & sports grounds on your left. The first set of traffic lights are at the intersection of Vincent Street and Aberdare Road. Cross Vincent Street, go straight on following the Wollombi and Bellbird signs to Wollombi Road. Turn left into Wollombi Road.

Coming from any other direction, at the junction of Vincent Street (the main shopping street), Allandale Road (the main road out to Pokolbin & Branxton) and Maitland & Wollombi Roads, take Wollombi Road.

Drive for 5 km, through the village of Bellbird past the Bellbird Hotel and turn right into Kendall Street. The Bellbird Mine Memorial Park is on the corner. Follow Kendall Street (which becomes Bimbadeen Road) all the way up the hill (3.8 km) and you will come to Bimbadeen Estate. The road is sealed all the way.
